THE STORY

Following a sold-out debut at Blue Note Tokyo, the Los Angeles-based contemporary pianist and composer GKO continues to transform the piano recital into an immersive, genre-bending, and rhapsodic experience. His live compositions reflect the ambience, light, acoustics, and the audience in real time, turning museums, galleries, vineyards, and concert halls into instruments themselves.

Critics have described his performances as creating "moments of nostalgia, reverie, and reflection," while SPICE Magazine wrote that they "witnessed the true magic of the piano."

GKO has been presented by The British Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, The University of Oxford, and by Carnegie Hall nine times. He was also a featured artist for TED, OCEANA, Festival Napa Valley, and NAMM.

A graduate of Harvard University, GKO earned Honors in Music and received the David McCord Prize for innovation and creative talent after authoring Harvard's first Piano Performance Thesis. His artistic practice bridges classical tradition, contemporary composition, improvisation, and technology. His approach led to guest lecture invitations at The MIT Media Lab and The Tanglewood Institute of Music.

As a recording artist, GKO has released over 4 albums and 15 singles independently. His work has appeared in film, television, and live productions for Netflix, The Tribeca Film Festival, CBC, and Dodger Stadium. He has also collaborated on records with The Black Keys, Beck, Foster the People, Handsome Boy Modeling School, and 24kGoldn.

Beyond the stage, GKO collaborates with leading cultural and luxury brands including OMEGA, Maison Kitsuné, and Rémy Martin, creating performances that blur the boundaries between concert, installation, and cultural experience.
